Time Out says

On the National Register of Historic Places, the Boston Fish Pier isn't necessarily open to the public, but Bostonians and visitors of like will appreciate knowing about this Seaport District landmark. (And it does host a seasonal, outdoor farmers market on Saturdays in the summer and fall.) The central hub of Boston's commercial fishing industry for more than 100 years is an active port and also home to numerous seafood-related businesses, from Red's Best and Rocky Neck Fish Company to Polkadog Bakery, makers of what might be your dog's favorite salmon snack.

What’s on

Fish & Farm Market

Boston has always been a seafood city. This market reminds you that it's an agricultural one, too. The Fish & Farm Market brings fishermen, farmers, bakers, cheesemakers, and specialty food producers together every Saturday at the historic Boston Fish Pier, creating one of the city's freshest shopping experiences right on the waterfront. Instead of choosing between the catch of the day and just-picked produce, you can fill your bag with both while chatting directly with the people who harvested, caught, or made it. With the working harbor as its backdrop, the market feels like a celebration of everything Massachusetts does best, from land to sea.
