Boston Parks’ Summer Fitness Series Tai Chi is a welcome reset from the usual rush of the season. Held at Titus Sparrow Park in the South End, this free outdoor class offers an easy way to spend an hour moving through slow, deliberate exercises designed to improve balance, relaxation and focus. Led by instructor Joeseph Gallop, the session is open to all fitness levels, making it a low-pressure option for anyone curious about tai chi without committing to a formal studio setting. The appeal is in the simplicity: a neighborhood park, a quiet morning, and a practice that asks you to slow down for a while. It is a refreshing addition to a summer schedule packed with plans and a reminder that wellness does not always need to feel like a workout.
