Grendel’s Den

This unpretentious little basement bar—one of the few old-school hangouts left in Harvard Square—continues to attract throngs of thirsty Harvard students. From 5pm to 7.30pm every day, everything on the menu is half price with a $4 drink purchase. Start with some brisket nachos or loaded potato skins, share an order of Peruvian quinoa stew, maybe throw in a tuna melt or French dip, and finish with a brownie in a masion jar. Just remember, the deal not available on the outdoor patio tables or for take out.
