Given the substantial student population in the Allston/Brighton area, it was only a matter of time before a bar that mingled the local pick-up scene with Euro accents would take over. The ground-floor Met Lounge features a DJ playing mainly Top 40 hits, R&B and hip hop, with the occasional commercial house tune. The spacious loft-style top level is for chilling out and catching a game, with a 70ft oval bar, TVs and decent food.
