In the spot that used to house the divey little bar Drumlin's, the People's Republik has jazzed things up considerably. In the daytime, you'll find postal workers from down the street cosying up to the bar. At night, though, it becomes a seething cauldron of youth. With old communist propaganda pasted all over the walls, and a giant mock bomb hovering above the window, the Republik plays around with a revolutionary theme, which has led local wags to rename it 'Kremlin's'. Be warned; it's easy to pass hours here without realising it.
