Rock Bottom

It may be part of a national chain (which specializes in the beer styles of the West Coast), but Rock Bottom Brewery is a fine establishment for beer-lovers. In the heart of Boston's rejuvenated Theater District, it holds up well against stiff local competition. Brewmaster Gerry O'Connell hails from Tralee, in County Kerry, and his beers (especially when he selects the big, chocolatey Oatmeal Stout as his rotating dark beer selection) can sometimes show the influence of his homeland.
