The Sligo—small, dimly lit, still serving Pabst Blue Ribbon for two bucks a pint, with oldies on the jukebox—is one of the last bastions of Davis Square's blue-collar traditions. Although it's now been infiltrated by Tufts University students, it still serves generous shots of the hard stuff to guys who look like they've been regulars since Eisenhower was president.
