One Liner Madness

One Liner Madness, a comedy contest that's been traveling the country to find the best joke writers since 2016, is returning to Somerville for the first time since 2019. On Mar. 8, dozens of Boston-area comedians will compete in a head-to-head, single-elimination, March Madness style joke tournament at The Rockwell. Your audience applause determines which funnymen and women advance, and who ultimately becomes the One Liner Madness Boston Champion (hello, trophy and cash prize). Doors open for this 21-plus event at 7:15pm, with the lightning fast show (it moves 64 comedians to a chosen champ in 100 minutes) starting at 8pm.
