Named Boston's Best Film Festival by Boston Magazine, the Independent Film Festival Boston (IFFBoston) celebrates its 22nd year with its 2025 dates April 23-30. Developing a noted national reputation as a quality regional film event, there will be showings in various venues across the Greater Boston area, including the historic Somerville, Brattle, and Coolidge Corner Theatres, of a quality selection of more than 90 narrative features, documentary features, short films, animated films, and experimental films, along Q&As with filmmakers, panel discussions, and festival parties.
