Everyone has their own strategy for JP Porchfest. Some map out every stop weeks in advance. Others simply wander until they hear something they like. For one afternoon, musicians take over porches, front yards and driveways throughout Jamaica Plain, turning the neighborhood into a free, walkable music festival where dozens of performances unfold at the same time.
