Time Out says

In its former life as the legendary Roxy, this Theatre District nightspot hosted some of the city’s biggest bashes. Today, Royale continues to host national-level music acts on various nights, and on weekends the clubs kids pack in to dance the night away. The massive room has a grand stage, an elegant marble foyer, cushy seating nooks, a fantastic sound system, a festive light show and more. There are VIP balconies if you feel like getting away from it all. Check the venue website to see what's on offer; big-name DJs often come through to spin house tunes.

What’s on

Bed by 10pm

Remember when a night out didn't have to wreck your entire Sunday? Bed By 10pm is built around that idea. The dance party swaps the usual midnight start for an afternoon and early evening soundtrack packed with the pop, dance and throwback anthems that defined nights out in the '80s, '90s and early 2000s. By the time most clubs are just getting going, you'll already have had hours to sing along, hit the dance floor and catch up with friends before heading home at a perfectly reasonable hour. It's a concept that feels surprisingly overdue, especially for anyone who's outgrown 2am last calls but still misses the thrill of a packed dance floor. Sometimes the best part of going out is knowing you can still wake up feeling human the next morning.
