Early spring is such an exciting time to be in Boston, especially right now as we're seeing a flurry of new restaurant openings. The weather is getting warmer and days are getting longer, which means invites to rooftops and picnics are just around the corner – so impress all your friends by bringing goodies from the hottest new restaurants on the scene. Don't worry about schlepping all that takeout across town either, because we've got your back. All you have to do is check out our five choice new spots, pick one that whets your appetite, and order for delivery right now.

  • Restaurants
  • Gastropubs
  • Harvard Sq

Source is the best new restaurant to come to Harvard Square in a long time. This buzzy Italian eatery serves up delicious pizzas and fresh pastas, with everything made in-house. It’s the kind of place that already feels like it's been filled with regulars for years, when in reality it's only been open since 2020. When you want to try somewhere new, but also be reassured that you'll be happy with your choice, go straight to the Source.

2. Thazia

Thazia is a brand new Asian fusion restaurant that opened in the Seaport out of a shipping container in the Innovation and Design Building. Founder Panupak Kraiwong has created a menu filled with ramen fusion dishes that take inspiration from Southeast Asia and beyond. Order from here when you need something to soothe anything that went wrong during the day. The “Mi Soul”, made with Thai-style pork bone soup, ramen chashu, seaweed and scallions, is the best cure for the sad-desk-lunch or the sad-work-from-home-lunch!

3. Pho Town 7

Is there anything as satisfying as getting pho delivered on a chilly day? We all know that even though spring is technically here in Boston, we are sure to get a few more cold, windy, and even snowy days. Their classic beef pho and spring rolls are exactly the type of thing that you'll want showing up on your doorstep. So on a day where you just want to hunker down, order from the brand new Pho Town 7.

4. Cafe Landwer Boylston

Café Landwer has a brand-new location on Boylston Street in the heart of the Back Bay. Their all-day Mediterranean menu offers everything from brunch to dinner to dessert. This is such a great place to order from because there will always be something on the menu that you'll feel like eating, whether you're ordering an early lunch, late dinner or a midday snack.

  • Bars
  • Theater District

Finally, the replacement for Abby Lane in the Theater District is a funky addition to the neighborhood. In an area filled with theaters and clubs, this new Southern-themed restaurant was welcomed with open arms as 2022 got into full swing. When you’re in the mood for some ribs or mac 'n' cheese, Nash Bar and Stage is a fun new option to order from.
