Time Out says

In a sea of chains, Trident remains a tried-and-true standby for the more indie-minded of Boston’s over-caffeinated literary nerds. The magazine selection is peerless—art zines, obscure trade publications… and is that a Spanish edition of Foreign Affairs? The food and drink is solid; if you’re bummed about not being able to order a single-origin pour-over, the atmosphere will make up for it.

One of the most unique cafes in Boston! Half bookstore half cafe, this place is always packed, especially on a beautiful afternoon where you can sit outside and people watch while eating amazing brunch. Try to get there as early as possible, put your name on a list and go shopping to work up an appetite before eating an awesome meal. This place isn't as manageable with big groups, but fun to go with a date or a friend or two.
