This upmarket mall gets better and better: cool designer department store Barneys New York recently moved in, with the socialites' favourite footwear brand, Jimmy Choo, hot on its heels. It boasts an 11-screen cinema, two hotels and 100 stores, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Neiman Marcus and less rarefied names such as Banana Republic, J Crew and Victoria's Secret, plus gems such as a branch of New York cult apothecary CO Bigelow. The mall connects to its more pedestrian counterpart at the Prudential Center via a glass-enclosed bridge.
