An '80s prom night at Kings

We may be ringing in 2022, but Kings wants to bring us back to the 1980s this New Year’s Eve. Each location of this local chain—Seaport, Back Bay, Dedham, Lynnfield and Burlington—will be throwing an ’80s prom-themed party to help us all count down to the New Year with a side of nostalgia. Guests are encouraged to don their finest vintage formal apparel—think puffy-sleeved dresses and spencer jackets—for this fête, which will feature throwbacks to set the mood, like classic ’80s music videos and movies, a prom king and queen bowl-off and plenty of old school prom decor. There’s no cover charge for this extravaganza, and there will be open bowling lanes until 10pm. Just keep in mind that it’s 21+ after 6pm, and there are lane reservations after 10:30pm.
