Time Out says

The Bay State Hot Jazz Festival (previously the Medford Trad Jazz Festival) is a free two-day community festival featuring traditional jazz bands from all over the country. This year they raise the roof with set after set of incredible music over Aug. 23 and 24 from 11am – 3pm at the Condon Band Shell in Medford. Performing rain or shine, headliners are roots music legend Jim Kweskin and the Berlin Hall Saturday Night Revue and award-winning St. Louis, Mo., transplants Annie and the Fur Trappers. You’ll also tap your toes (or get up and dance) to sets from 440, The Orleans Kids, The SheBop Swing Orchestra, Rahsaan Cruse Jr., The Whoozit/Whatzit All Star Band, and The Busted Jug Band. The Bay State Hot Jazz Festival is a program of Labyrinth Choir, a professional mixed vocal ensemble from Massachusetts founded in 2012 by Dr. Anita Kupriss and Dr. Richard Douglas.
