Want to see something weird? Now’s your chance. The Boston Oddities & Curiosities Expo is the world's largest traveling oddities event, and the first of its kind to exclusively showcase oddities vendors and dark artists. Over the weekend at the Hynes Convention Center (May 17 from 10am-6pm and May 18 from 10am-4pm), you'll find items such as taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/Halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls/bones, funeral collectibles, and much more (don't worry - it's all legal). Outside of the curated vendors, there will also be sideshow stage performers and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with Jackalope Taxidermy Class on Saturday (for a $225 additional fee) and an Sunday entomology classes on Beetles at 10:30am and Spiders at 1:30pm, each an extra $150.
