DockFest turns The Anchor into a weeklong Fourth of July hangout, with Boston Harbor doing half the decorating. Set in Charlestown's Shipyard Park, the waterfront celebration brings together fireworks, festive cocktails, live entertainment, family activities, and plenty of space to settle in with a drink by the water. This year's edition also taps into two major storylines at once: America's 250th anniversary and World Cup knockout rounds, with Round of 32 and Round of 16 matches shown live on The Anchor's giant outdoor screen throughout the week. You can come for match day, stay for the music, or use it as a home base for Boston's holiday energy. It feels like a very Boston way to spend Fourth of July week, history on one side, harbor views on the other, and a crowd ready for both soccer and fireworks.
