Get in some screams from the big screen, as Coolidge Corner Theatre hosts its 20th annual Halloween Horror Marathon. The Brookline institution will kickstart its movie-crammed extravaganza with a special guest, composer Alan Howarth (known for his music from They Live and Halloween II), who’ll be opening the night with a live performance of his celebrated, scary scores starting at 11pm. The Coolidge will then be showing 12 straight hours of terrifying sequels that will total seven spooky flicks—ranging from the renowned to the overlooked. Stock up on coffee or your favorite caffeinated beverage beforehand because you’ll need it; these back-to-back screenings will run from midnight on October 30 until noon the next day, on All Hallows Eve.
