On July 17, Harvest continues its 50th anniversary celebration with its next Alumni Dinner that showcases chefs' signature styles and the region’s freshest seasonal ingredients. From 6-10pm, Chefs Eric Brennan and Keith Pooler are the main stars, beginning the night with a cocktail hour (complete with an Oyster Bar, Lobster Salad Canapé, and Fried Whole Belly Clams) that is followed by a four-course dinner inspired by New England’s summer seafood bounty. The collaborative menu will include a first course of Saikyo Yaki Sea Scallop, sweet potato, smoked shiitake, furikake tempura, carrot-ginger emulsion; a second course of Grilled Shrimp Escabèche, heirloom tomato, truchia, frisée, mizuna, tasso ham; a third course of Locally Caught Striped Bass, Sicilian stuffed squid, crab & polenta croquette, grilled asparagus, romesco, liquid corn on the cob; and dessert of Peach Pie with frangipane, toasted almonds, and bourbon-sweetened cream.
