Sometimes, we all just need a little sugar—and there’s no better place to get that than at Fool’s Errand this Friday. The Fenway spot is hosting an Ice Cream Social starting at 4pm, when you can grab some tasty confections from Big Heart Hospitality Pastry Chef Dee Steffen Chinn and her guest of honor, James Beard Award winner and cookbook author Kelly Fields. While you’re savoring those sweets—which will include everything from a Summer Sundae consisting of corn ice cream, wild blueberries and caramel corn goodies to “Obligatory Mr. Fields Cookies”—you can schmooze with Chinn and Fields, the latter of whom will also have copies of her latest cookbook, The Good Book of Southern Baking, on hand for sale and signing. Be sure to get there early because the social will only be going strong until the goodies sell out.
