Come celebrate community through biking with a little pedal power. In partnership with HUBLUV, the Museum of Science is giving a nod to the bicycling community around Greater Boston on Aug. 23 from 11am-3pm. Bike to the museum (there will be planned rides or just bring your own wheels and have them valeted parked for free) and learn how bicycling and pedestrian infrastructure can build community, improve personal health, and address the climate crisis. Speakers include Gabriella Rossi, Founder and Executive Director of Girls in Gear; Adam Bigelow, who rode to 92 Dunkin' Donuts in one day to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research; Rui Li, Director of the Exercise Science Program at Northeastern University Exercise Science Lab, and Amelia Casey, Senior Transportation Planner at Arup.
