Spectacle on Spectacle - Boston Harbor Now's signature summer kickoff celebration and fundraising event - returns on June 12 to the shores of Spectacle Island of the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park. Running from 4:30-9pm (ferries leave from Long Wharf at 4:30pm, 5:15pm, and 5:40pm), the celebration brings together the community to champion climate resilience, environmental justice, and the protection of Boston’s waterfront, islands, and parks, as well as serving as a call to action in the face of rising coastal threats. At 6:45pm, there will be a brief speaking program, leading to an unforgettable evening of delicious local food and drink, live music and entertainment, dancing, and waterfront vibes. This year's theme, "The Power of Now," honors the energy of this moment — a time to act, to connect, and to celebrate the strength and urgency of our collective work toward a resilient and equitable future for Boston Harbor and the communities it serves. Your ferry return is at 8pm or 8:45pm.
