Seaport Sketch
The Seaport isn't short on ways to spend a summer evening, but Seaport Sketch offers a chance to slow down for a bit. Held in The Superette Courtyard, this free outdoor drawing series invites artists of every skill level to grab a seat, pick up a pencil and sketch alongside local creative Lee "SOEMS." Each session features a different subject, from neighborhood scenes and still lifes to live models, with live music adding to the atmosphere. Supplies are provided, so there's no need to come prepared beyond a little curiosity. Even if you haven't drawn since grade school, it's an easy excuse to trade screen time for a creative night by the waterfront.
