The Theater Offensive, Boston’s cultural organization for queer and trans people of color, launches a bold new chapter in its mission to uplift queer and trans artists of color with the inaugural Queer [Re]Public Festival, taking place June 26–29 at Arrow Street Arts in Cambridge. This four-day festival features performances, art making, and community building events from QTBIPOC creators, marking the public-facing culmination of two years of residency-based artistic collaboration. The Festival is anchored by three powerful works - Victoria Lynn Awkward's aerial dance production In the Space Between, Cheyenne Wyzzard-Jones's new play The Messenger, and Annalise "River" Guidry's participatory event Theater of Union.
