Youth Fest 2025

The city's biggest youth celebration returns on Aug. 13, as Youth Fest 2025 takes over City Hall Plaza with original performances by BMP's Music Workforce Apprenticeship teens and invited youth organizations, youth rock and funk bands, brass bands, classical strings, and DJ sets.​ This groundbreaking summer festival (in partnership with FutureBOS and the City of Boston and powered by Boston Music Project) will bring together more than 10,000 Boston youth and 500+ community partners to shine a spotlight on the incredible creativity, talent, and hustle of young people across the city. There will be live music and dance from Boston Music Project, BTO Boston, 617Peak, and more; interactive martial arts demos by Level Ground MMA; an instrument petting zoo; a photo booth and lawn games. Boston Music Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing weekly music education to 2,300 youth across 32 Boston schools and community centers with a team of 65 diverse teaching artists.
