Subterranean cocktail bar housed in the tunnels underneath the Old City
In Bristol we’re always much more likely to build a bar underground than on the top of a grand skyscraper. Claustrophobes, this one's not for you.
The Doghouse is the newest bar to make its home in the centuries-old tunnels running underneath the Old City. You’ve got to duck your head low in some corners of this room, which features ancient, exposed brickwork, after a previous incumbent went slightly over the top with the Artex.
There are cocktails and spirits on offer, as well as an excellent selection of wines, with DJs playing most nights of the week.

I've had some of the best nights of my life in this venue over the year. None more so than in its most recent incarnation! Challenging the staid pretence of the cocktail scene in Bristol with its upbeat music and sociable vibe. A must visit venue for anyone looking for a great night out!
