After taking over the streets of London earlier this year, the Shaun In The City trail arrives in Bristol on Monday 6 July. And while London got 50 different versions of Aardman's much-loved wooly critter, here in Bristol we're going one (or 20) better, with 70 Shauns set to pop up at various locations around the city.

As with the hugely successful Gromit Unleashed trail that took over Bristol in 2013, each sculpture has been decorated by a different artist or celebrity. Once the trail ends on 31 August, all 70 Shauns will be herded up and then auctioned for charity.

The Gromit trail raised an incredible £4.5million for Bristol Children's Hospital, so hopes are high for Shaun's turn in the spotlight - with all money raised going to the Bristol Children's Hospital charity Wallace & Gromits Grand Appeal, which helps provide specialist care to sick children.

A few of the designs are starting to creep out into the media, but Aardman are, understandably, keeping most of them close to their chest until the launch. However, Time Out managed to get a sneak peek of 11 of the new Bristol designs and you can see these below!

Keep an eye on the Shaun The Sheep website for more details of the trail.
