After a fully-booked open air debut in London, the Floating Cinema is now making its way to Bristol, where it will dock in the Harbourside in early July for a series of film screenings, talks, performances and special events, most of which are free to attend.

Following stops in Reading, Newbury and Bath along the way, the converted barge will arrive in Bristol on Monday 6 July, where it will be moored until the following Saturday.

Linking up with Arnolfini, The Cube Microplex and Bristol Record Office, the aim of the events program is to celebrate home-grown Bristol talent. Events include artist-led tours of Arnolfini's Floating Ballast Seed Garden, workshops with local artists and open-air film screenings of rare footage from local archives .

Most events are free to attend, but places should be reserved in advance - tickets are now available from the Floating Cinema website.
