Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are invited to take part in a brand new fundraising event, which will take place around the parklands of Oldbury Court Estate in Fishponds this September.

The Colour Fun Run on September 27 is a 5k event where the focus isn't on setting the fastest time, but getting to the finish line covered in as many hues of powder paint as possible.

In addition to being a great way to get some healthy exercise, The Colour Fun Run is a family friendly event that encourages adults and children to take part together, as well as provide an opportunity to explore the beautiful woods, paths and rivers within the grounds of Oldbury Court Estate.

It's also an enjoyable way to help raise money for good causes. The Colour Fun Run has been organised by Bristol addiction recovery charity St Vincent's, an organisation that has helped hundreds of people recover from drug or alcohol dependency since 1999.

Alongside the 5k run will be music, food and drink stalls, and the chance to have your face painted and get colourful before you even reach the starting line.
