Shaun the Sheep sculptures from the Shaun in the City art trails in Bristol and London have raised more than £1 million for sick children.

The auction, hosted by TV auctioneer Tim Wonnacott, took place at Cribbs Causeway on Thursday October 8 and saw 120 Shaun and six mini-Shaun sculptures go under the hammer, making a combined total of £1,087,900.

Money from the Bristol Shauns will be donated to The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, while the London trail raised money for Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity.

The most successful sheep on the night was Globetrotter, who was sold to Col Needham, founder of movie website IMDB, for £28,000.

Other popular sculptures include Baack to the Drawing Board (£21,00), Br-ewe-nel (£16,000), Buttercup (£16,000), Flock n Roll (£17,000), Jarsberry Ram (£16,000), Please Stand By (£15,000), Rule Britannia (£15,000), Star Bake (£16,000), Shaun on the Cob (£20,000), Starstruck (£24,00) and Sparkles the Unicorn (£25,000).
