At the end of July, Casio began its nationwide G-Shock Tour, bringing action-packed entertainment to skateparks across the country. Having already hosted massive takeovers at Zone 74 in Glasgow and Creation in Birmingham, the next destination for the whistle-stop tour is Motion skatepark on Saturday August 15.

This free event will be attended by a number of local heroes who will be showcasing their skills on the ramps, including pro skateboarder James Threlfall from Bath and Swansea BMX rider James Jones.

Plus, street artist Vertz137 will be creating a legacy mural, while beats will be provided by rapper Klashnekoff, famed for his appearance on the soundtrack for cult British drama movie 'Kidulthood'.

Of course, those who attend the event will also be encouraged to take part, and that could mean pulling some tricks in the park, picking up the mic or showing some artistic talent with spray cans. Visitors will also get the chance to win a G-Shock watch too.

To sign up for the event and find out more, visit the G-Shock Tour website and click on the 'Bristol' tab. You can also keep up to date for the grand finale of the tour in London, where the venue has yet to be announced.

Casio G-Shock Tour Bristol Takeover, Saturday August 15, 10am-7pm, Motion skatepark, 74-78 Avon Street, Bristol, BS2 0PX. Entry is free.
