Known initially for shaking up YouTube a few years back, Gabrielle Aplin is a British singer-songwriter from Bath.
In 2012 she signed to Parlophone and worked on her debut album, which was released in 2013 to a storm of critical acclaim. But it was also a cover of 'The Power Of Love' used by John Lewis for another of their irksome tear-jerking ads that helped thrust her into the spotlight.
This October she heads to Thekla in support of a new album 'Light Up The Dark'.
