This is the Kit

The musical project of Kate Stables and her long-time collaborator Jesse Vernon, This is the Kit is a folk band based in both Paris and Bristol. ‘Bashed Out’ is the band’s third album, for which they collaborated with Aaron Dessner, best known for his work in The National. Their most recent release features not only band touring members Rozi Plain, Jesse Vernon and Jamie Whitby-Coles, but also key figures of the Brooklyn music scene including Matt Barrick (The Walkmen) and Ben Lanz (Beirut, The National).
