Bristol's underground dance music scene is famed for its tight sense of community - and this one-off event proves there really is something special out here in the West.
Back in May, the studio shared by local D&B and hip hop heroes Carasel, Blacksmith and Foreign Concept was broken into and stripped bare, with the trio losing not just thousands of pounds worth of equipment, but hundreds of hours of hard work too.
Backlash, taking place at Thekla on Friday August 21, is a fundraiser to help replace the guys' equipment, with all money made going to that cause.
Full details of the line-up on the night is yet to be released, but it's already strong, with DC Breaks, Crissy Criss, Gorgon Sound (Kahn & Neek), Nicky Blackmarket, N3Gus, Dazee and loads more already confirmed.
