Time Out says

A reworking of Nikolai Erdman’s classic comic masterpiece 'The Suicide', this production comes from the graduating students of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Written by Deborah McAndrew and directed by Gwenda Hughes, the tale follows unnemployed Simeon Duff, who lives with his wife and mother-in-law and, depressed at having to live on his other half's wages to live, plots to kill himself.

'The Grand Gesture' met great critical acclaim with its national tour, and now meets a new phase of theatre makers and performers to bring it to life once again.
