Time Out says

A new production of Tony Staveacre’s play from The Ministry of Entertainment, this show explores the life and songs of Al Bowlly.

After debuting ten years ago, The Ministry of Entertainment breathes fresh life into the play, 'The Very Thought Of You: Songs and Souvenirs of Al Bowlly', which comes from Bristol writer Tony Steveacre and looks at the life of reluctant star Al Bowlly, a legendary singer who died in the London Blitz in 1941.
