Afrika Eye is the south west's biggest celebration of African cinema and culture, returning to Watershed this November to celebrate its 10th birthday. Going all out for the occasion, this year's event also adds a festival song and quilt auction to its usual lineup of new and classic Africa-related screenings, talks, debates, live music and arts workshops.
Highlights include a screening of tragi-comedy 'Hyenas', animated film 'Zarafa', a family printmaking workshop and an opening party with live music from Amadou Diagne with his UK based band Group Yakar.
