Time Out says

Making its debut in Bristol, Jamaica Rum Tings comes to Lakota on Saturday 1 August, ahead of events in Brixton and Leeds later on in the month.

Organised in celebration of Jamaican Independence Day, the day promises the best food, drink and music from the Island, with loads of rum-related activites on offer and a top-drawer selection of DJs and live acts from Bristol and beyond.

Jungle legends Congo Natty and LTJ Bukem will be joined by sets from Bristol icon DJ Krust, local hero Buggsy performing with Skitz and London Posse original Rodney P, plus Rinse FM's Uncle Dugs with MC Navigator and Reggae Roast's Adam Prescott and Leo Samson.

Advanced tickets cost just £4 and the party runs from 2pm through to 3am.
