Time Out says

One of the many events taking place as part of Bristol Cycle Festival between 6 June and 14 June, this bike ride with a difference lets you swap your pedals for paddles and enjoy the River Avon from a unique perspective.

Leaving the Harbourside's Mud Dock cafe at 10am, join a bicycle convoy and ride along the river out to Hanham, then jump off your bike and onto the water aboard a stand-up paddleboard, before returning to dry land for food and drink and the Lock & Weir and a ride back into town.

Expert tuition is provided for those who've never been on a paddleboard before - the only requirement to join the ride is that you're over the age of 12 and able to swim.

More details can be found over on the Bristol Cycle Festival website.
