St. Nicholas Market

Bristol's favourite market in the heart of the city, renowned for its independent retailers, cracking food, and its stunning setting in a Georgian arcade.

Affectionately known by locals as St. Nicks, the market is home to some of Bristol's finest independent traders in everything from cake and sausages to jewellery and records.

There's a weekly food market on Fridays, regular night markets and an award-winning farmers' market every Wednesday.

Brace yourself for a atmosphere overload here. Friday evenings are where it's at when the St Nick's Night Market comes into full swing. There's tantalising street food to tickle those tastebuds, award winning ciders to awaken the dancer in you and a tonne of fresh up and coming bands and street performers to shake a tail feather to. There are even circus acts some times!

The day time indoor market is usually open general working hours, so around 9am - 5pm, but they're open Saturdays too and it's free to enter and wander around. It's even won prizes for being the best indoor market in Britain, which is no mean feat!
