The music of TEEKS

TEEKS, the celebrated Māori soul artist, whose given name is Te Karehana Gardiner-Toi, has built a devoted following since releasing his 2017 EP, ‘The Grapefruit Skies’. Known for his emotive songwriting with a voice to match, his 2021 debut album ‘Something To Feel’ reached number one in New Zealand, cemented by his reputation for spellbinding live performances.

Locals probably know him best for the slow-burning love song ‘First Time’, but TEEKS’ catalogue runs deeper, spanning a style that blends soul, R&B and emotional balladry.

The music of Good Neighbours

If you’re not one of the hundreds of millions of people who have seen Good Neighbours on TikTok (where they broke out in 2024), it’s time to fix that. The duo comprises Oli Fox and Scott Verrill, who hail from East London in the UK.

Their runaway hit, ‘Home’, was released in early 2024, and the track quickly became one of the year’s defining debut singles, racking up hundreds of millions of streams and propelling the band onto international stages. It’s a track built on bright hooks, stadium-sized choruses and all the feel-good nostalgia the world needs right now. Need a reference point? Imagine MGMT, Passion Pit, and Bleachers walking into a bar and starting to jam.

But Good Neighbours are no one-TikTok wonder. The pair have since ridden that online momentum into IRL sold-out shows across the UK, US, Canada and Australia. Meanwhile, their debut album, 'Blue Sky Mentality', is flying on major platforms, carrying the same sense of optimism and uplifting energy that powered ‘Home’ into our ears. For Cape Town fans, it’s a rare chance to catch one of indie-pop’s hottest new names on a local stage.

If you'd like to ensure your spot at the show is booked, tickets can be purchased through WebTickets and are priced from R495.
