It was in October 2024 that Desvio Ceramics first opened its doors in Bairro do Rosário, Cascais, thanks to Sofia Santo – who, after a decade in social work, decided to take a happy little detour in her career and dive headfirst into ceramics. By July 2025, she had launched the brand’s second shop in the Cidadela Art District, a space that also hosts workshops, all focused on creating pieces on the potter’s wheel.
