Which performances are absolute must-sees?

Three indispensable heavyweights of the global electronic music scene take centre stage for this edition:

Kaytranada
The Canadian producer and DJ is one of the most influential figures in contemporary electronic music, having redefined the boundaries of the genre by blending house beats with heavy hip-hop, R&B, and funk influences. A Grammy Award winner acclaimed by critics worldwide, his innovative productions and infectious sets promise to turn the festival's first Saturday into an unforgettable celebration of danceable, groove-laden rhythms.

Armand Van Helden
A pioneer and living legend of the New York scene, the charismatic American DJ and producer shaped the global house music landscape with dancefloor anthems that defined generations, such as "You Don't Know Me" and "My My My". Renowned for his electrifying energy and mastery of remixing and sampling funk, soul, and pop—having crafted remixes for the likes of Daft Punk and Tori Amos—his performance on the second Saturday brings the pure, historic essence of global club culture to the Forte de Santo António da Barra. Furthermore, he is one half of Duck Sauce, the duo behind the global smash hit "Barbra Streisand".

Groove Armada
The influential British duo formed by Andy Cato and Tom Findlay is a global electronic music powerhouse, boasting a career packed with massive hits spanning big beat, trip-hop, and house, including "Superstylin'", "I See You Baby", and the classic "At the River". With over two decades of chart success and nine studio albums under their belt, they take to the stage on the festival's second Saturday for an exclusive DJ set.

What time do doors open and when do the shows finish?

On both days, doors are scheduled to open at 3:30 pm. Expect to keep dancing until midnight.

Are tickets still available? How much do they cost?

General admission tickets for the first Saturday are already completely sold out, with only VIP Backstage passes remaining from €125. For the 15th of August, general admission tickets can still be purchased starting from €30, alongside the VIP Backstage option.

Are there age restrictions for entry?

Yes, the event enforces a strict age policy: entry is strictly prohibited for anyone under 18 years of age.

If I leave the Fort during the event, can I re-enter?

Temporary re-entry is strictly prohibited under any circumstances. Once you leave the venue, your ticket becomes invalid and re-admission will not be permitted.

How do I get to the Forte de Santo António da Barra?

The exact address is Avenida Marginal 73, Estoril. The organisers strongly recommend taking the train on the Cascais Line (Linha de Cascais), alighting at either São João do Estoril or Estoril stations and walking to the monument, as parking in the immediate vicinity is extremely limited.
