With almost 125 years of history, SMUP – Sociedade Musical União Paredense was once known for its philharmonic band and music, theater and dance classes. The space still operates along these lines, but in recent years it has stood out above all for hosting alternative musical programming, with bold proposals, many of which include renowned international bands on its circuits. It is the great cultural space of Parede.
