Is your afternoon free on 25 October? Then save it for a trip to Brazil without leaving Cascais. Feijoadas Bossa is returning to the Lake House at Quinta da Marinha, with Brazilian feijoada, live music and a table laden with tempting food.
The party starts at 1pm and runs until 6pm. To whet your appetite, there will be snacks from Madre Coxinha and Sogenave, including pão de queijo. Maskavo is taking care of dessert, while Talho Argentino will provide the barbecue. Vero Coco will also be there with a tasting of 100 per cent natural coconut water.
Drinks range from Ermelinda Wines to caipirinhas made with Cachaça 51, as well as beer and soft drinks. Samba Fixe will provide the live music, while younger guests can use the hotel’s Kids Club, available separately for €6.50 per child, per hour.
Those gathering a group of friends around the table can book for eight, ten or 12 people. All other tables have unreserved seating. Tickets are available online.
