Some Sundays call for the sofa. Others call for grass, golden hour and music chosen by people you do not usually find behind a DJ booth. At Ageas Cooljazz, that role belongs to Cascais Lazy Sundays, the stage that has already become a festival classic precisely because it works as a challenge: every year, it invites names from different worlds to take charge of the music and turn the afternoon into an open-air programme.

In 2026, the formula remains simple and effective: music in the late afternoon, free entry and a schedule kind to anyone trying to make the most of Sunday. The first session takes place on 12 July, with Joana Barrios. A well-known communicator, actress, author and all-round impossible-to-label figure, she takes control here with a two-hour DJ set. The following Sunday, 19 July, it is the turn of Pequenas Reivindicações de Liberdade. Mariana Lobo Vaz and Rita Poças, the duo behind the podcast of the same name, leave the recorded-conversation universe behind for a few hours and move over to the decks. This time, the claim is made in musical form. On 26 July, the final Sunday also comes from the digital world. Maria Castello Branco, Adriana Cardoso and Leonor Rosas, voices of the podcast Lei da Paridade, take on the afternoon’s musical curation and step into the centre of the sound decisions.
