This Thursday, there are oysters and wine at Enoteca 19

On 23 July, from 4pm to 7pm, Enoteca 19 is swapping its usual programme for an evening dedicated to fresh oysters and wine. The plan is simple: four oysters, two glasses of wine and a table in Cascais’ historic centre, for €28 per person. A good excuse to make midweek plans.

The restaurant is on Rua do Poço Novo, one of the quieter streets in the town’s historic centre. It began life as an Italian wine bar, but quickly grew into a proper restaurant too, with a menu that includes salumi e formaggi boards, pastas, pinsas and other Italian specialities. It is the kind of place that works for a full dinner, but also for an end-of-day glass with a few petiscos on the side. In this case, oysters.

The idea is to gather a few friends – or go as a couple, for the romantics – make the most of warm summer afternoons and cool down at the table.
