The 2026 World Cup kicked off on 11 June and, for those not crossing the Atlantic to watch the matches live, there is a much closer alternative. EVOLUTION Cascais-Estoril will be showing every game of the competition, with large-format screens and an atmosphere designed for football fans – though those who could not care less about the offside rule but do enjoy gathering with friends are very welcome too.

Some matches fall at times we are already used to, while others will have us staying up a little later, but the plan stays the same: football on the screen, a drink in hand and food to share.

For the occasion, the hotel has created special menus. Road to New Jersey costs €28 and brings together a bucket of six Sagres beers with a selection of snacks: Loaded Nachos, Golden Wings and Ultimate Fries. There is also The Match Day, for €12, with a Sagres, soft drink or glass of DIVAI wine and a Match Snack of your choice. The Show Must Go On, for €18, includes a drink and a Kick-Off Caesar, chicken or burger. The Full Cup, also €18, settles the beer question with a bucket of six Sagres.

The idea is simple: watch the World Cup out of the house, without having to fight for a tiny table or pretend you can actually see the action on a television miles away. Wear your team colours, round up your friends and get there with time to spare. To make things easier, there are three hours of free parking.
