Time Out Market Chicago is now open, with 19 amazing chefs

Almost two years ago, we announced our plans to open Time Out Market in the West Loop, vowing to bring together the best of the city under one roof. Today we're making good on our bold promise with the opening of Time Out Market Chicago at 916 W Fulton Market.

The 50,000-square-foot building is home to 19 fantastic Chicago chefs and restaurateurs, an all-season rooftop, four top-notch bars and a demo kitchen that will host events throughout the year. We'd suggest you plan your lunch hour accordingly.

Located at the corner of Fulton Market and Sangamon, in the heart of the West Loop, Time Out Market Chicago is curated by our editorial team. We hand-selected the chef lineup, asked the city's best bartenders to mix up recipes for the bars and pulled some of our fave hands-on activations up to the second-floor demonstration kitchen. We even went back to our roots and plastered the rooftop bar in vintage magazine covers from Time Out London. We're bringing the pages of our magazine to life in the tastiest way possible.

Now, let's get to the good stuff: the food. The market is home to a whopping 19 chefs from across the city, and guests can order everything from Mexican and Vietnamese dishes to a classic Italian beef and a slice of deep dish pizza. Our stacked chef lineup includes (take a deep breath): Abe Conlon, Arami, the Art of Pizza, Band of Bohemia, Bill Kim, Brian Fisher, Dos Urban Cantina, Decent Beef, Duck Inn Dogs, FARE, John Manion, Lost Larson, Mini Mott, Pretty Cool Ice Cream, the Purple Pig, Secret Sound, Split-Rail, Sugar Cube and Thai Dang.

The fun doesn't stop there: Lost Lake co-owners Shelby Allison and Paul McGee have a tropical speakeasy hidden on the second floor, and the pasta geniuses at Tortello are doing interactive classes in the demo kitchen.

Time Out Market Chicago is located at 916 W Fulton Market in the West Loop. Visit us Sunday through Thursday from 8am to 10pm and Friday through Saturday from 8am to 11pm. Select eateries will serve breakfast items in the morning, while most others will open at 11am; bars will stay open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
